Christmas in Virginia!!

We flew up to Virginia to see Pop Pop and Grandma for Christmas (Deanna and Kevin too!) . We had a lot of fun with them all and can't wait to go back! Thank you all for a great Christmas!! Here a few of the pictures I took (it's pretty long so hang in there!!).

SNOW!!

There was a big snow storm a couple of days before we got to Virginia. Jake had seen snow once, and was happy to play in it. It was hard for him to walk in because there was so much. We decided to go sledding down the road from their house. I thought Jake would be scared, but he loved it and wanted to keep going. Jonathan, Aunt Deanna and I all rode with Jake. We had a great time!!

"What can I get into?"
Jake got into a lot of things while we were visiting. He loves Sarge (the dog) and wanted to take him on walks all the time. He also loves Kevin. Every morning it was, "Where's Kevin?" Even at mass, I had to get up to leave and he yelled out "I want Kevin!!" Kevin was great with him. He taught Jake to get into his wrestling stance (you'll see the picture below). So now we are working on wrestling moves (Kevin wrestles for his high school and Jonathan did too in high school and college). The other pics are of Jake playing with the train set. He loves trains right now, which is good because he got a lot for Christmas!!
Christmas Day!
Christmas was a lot of fun this year! The Koch's do Christmas a bit different then the Ellis', but it was a lot of fun! We started upstairs opening up gifts, then took a break for a bit so Jake could play with his gifts. We then moved downstairs to open up a few more gifts and then back upstairs a bit later to open stocking stuffers. We were very blessed this year and got all we wanted. Jake had a great time and here are a few pics of what he got!
Jake loved to open gifts, no matter who's they were!!
This was one of Jake's favorite gifts - a snowman globe that lights up.
Opening his Magic Mickey Train (it lays its own tracks!)!!
Mary Beth made Jonathan a scarp book from his UPT training.

Jake and Pop Pop playing with his Mickey Train. He also got a nice helmet from Grandma and Pop Pop!
More Presents!!
Jake loved opening presents!! After we were done up stairs, we went down to the basement to see what Santa had left. Jake was in for a big surprise!! Santa had left him a tricycle!! He was so happy and didn't want to open anymore gifts.

Jake loved the bell it has on it! Watch out everyone, Jake is on the loose!!
Jonathan enjoying opening presents!!

Jake got a new glove!! This one actually fits and we can really work on catching!! (if you haven't noticed Jake got a lot of sports stuff - we are starting early!!)

Jonathan opening his new lap top from his parents!

Cheezzzzz!!!

Snow Shoveler!
Jake wanted to ride his new tricycle so we ventured outside and let him. He is getting used to pedaling but its nice having the handle on the back to help him. Pop Pop some how got Jake to shovel snow. He had the best time helping out.

Jump Time!!
Pop Pop and Grandma took us to Jumpin Jimmies! It was a huge place with lots of inflatables. Jacob had the best time climbing up slides, bouncing and running around. He took a nice nap after wards!! I think Jonathan had a little too much fun too!!

One, Two, Three
After Kevin taught Jacob his stance, he wanted to wrestle Kevin ALL the time!! Kevin was so good with him! Here are some pics of Jacob wrestling with Kevin. The last one is what happens when Jacob loses!!

Park Fun!
Jonathan and Pop Pop took Jake for a walk and to play at the park. Jake loves his new tricycle!! He also loved playing at the park with Pop Pop!! Here are a few cute pictures from there trip!! It was super cold that day!!
Jonathan set all of Jake's train sets up together. Jake loves his train set! He will play with it for hours!!
No we didn't get Jake a dog for Christmas. This sweet little girl wandered up to Jonathan one day after work. She has no tags but is very friendly and we are keeping her until one of the rescue groups adopts her (they better hurry up because I'm getting attached!!)
