While we were home this summer, we got to watch Uncle Ben coach his summer league team. Jake was in heaven and has decided he is going to be a catcher or left handed pitcher!! Ben is really good with his team and we enjoyed watching him coach. His team also came to Columbus for a weekend to play and stayed at my parents house. Some of the guys were really good and played catch with Jake. Believe me, they won him over doing that. Now he wants to play ball ALL the time. 
Over the summer, Dad and I took Jake to his first movie. We went to see Shrek Ever After in 3D. Jake was a little overwhelmed with the loud noises, but seemed to enjoy it. He loved eating popcorn and drinking his coke. Later on in the summer, I took he and Grace to see Toy Story 3 and he loved that movie. Hopefully they will make some more good kids movies, but not in 3D. It's hard for him to keep the glasses on. But so glad he can finally sit and watch a movie!!
